The Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services recently highlighted OVRC's relationship with our local in-patient mental health care facility, ABH. Since mid-2022, we've donated almost 100 pairs of shoes to patients who are actively in crisis from addiction or mental health. This is particularly personal to me, because part of my own recovery journey started as an out-patient client in their related facility 22 years ago. It feels extra meaningful to be able to help people who are in crisis, and may not have access to decent, comfortable footwear.
